This is the extended family on the back porch, facing the sunset. 

Some kids are reluctant to have their photo taken. There were not those kids.

I try to be as informal as possible and let people pose themselves. A lot of times a family wants me to have them do something. I prefer to show who they are not what they do.

This guy had everyone's number on speed dial and he knew it.

Sometimes I just let kids be kids and see what happens. It can be fun.

This was between family portraits. The kids just kept running around in the yard.

You can see several generations in this face.
